Accessibility
We welcome people with disabilities and have developed the Access Statement to address some of the more common issues that disabled people face.
This access statement is intended to provide additional information for all guests who wish to attend the hotel or use its facilities. Recognition has been given to include guests with an impairment, which could include mobility, sight, hearing, learning disabilities or any other hidden impairment.
We request that anyone wishing to make an enquiry or booking inform us of any special needs or disabilities that they may have in order for us to try and meet any personal requirements. All staff are fully trained to assist disabled guests with empathy, and will be able to assist you in your decision whether or not Dalston Hall Hotel is suitable for your stay.
Dalston Hall has a ground level car park, with direct access into the hotel via a portable ramp. In addition, there is a designated disabled parking space situated in front of the hotel reception. All ground floor areas, including reception and restaurant are accessible to wheelchair users. The ground floor toilet has sufficient space for wheel-chair users.
All our bedrooms are on the first floor with the exception of our two Tower Rooms which are situated in the original Pele Towers. As we are a Grade II* listed building unfortunately the rooms are not accessible by a lift and access to the bedrooms is via the main staircase.
Some of our bedrooms have showers over bathtubs however we do have rooms available with separate walk-in showers.
